As British Columbia begins a new chapter during the COVID-19 pandemic today with “A Careful Restart”, we wanted to say WELCOME BACK!
Many individuals and businesses will be taking the first steps towards the B.C. Government’s “new normal” to slowly and carefully transition our economy and social lives towards increased activity levels while maintaining practices and procedures to respect that the risk of infection from the virus is still very much a reality for everyone, regardless of location, age, occupation, background or anything else.
We want to continue to extend our gratitude and support to all front line workers and businesses, including all health care professionals, grocery and food supply professionals, first-responders and everyone who has been called upon to keep our society healthy and safe during COVID-19.
Similar to everyone on the front line, we never stopped working during the pandemic, we’ve been here all along working under essential service protocols mandated by the provincial government in March. In addition to the updated steps we outline here, as we enter Phase 2 of the BC Government’s Restart Plan our office will now be available to use on an as needed basis. Although still closed to public use, our office is locked but available for us to use with strict COVID-19 protocols in place (including the use of masks indoors, physical barriers, sanitizers and more as outlined by WorkSafeBC, see the BC Government link above for more details), and in the meantime we are fully operational from our home offices with any required appointments in the field following strict COVID-19 protocols.
With the possible exception of hand-washing and physical distancing, we feel communication is one of the most important things we can do for our community, friends and family. We understand everyone will have different priorities, concerns and success stories. Please share with us any of your successes, any concerns, be it real estate or life in general, we will always respect and observe all boundaries for everyone during the extraordinary time.
We’re thrilled to have been able to help bring 4 transactions together since our office closed on March 19th, and we look forward to helping all of you with even more of your real estate needs as we transition through to “Phase 2”, and beyond!
As time allows I’ve been following a very steep learning curve on video creation and presentation (above and beyond the live stream open houses and buyer showings we have been carrying out) and will soon being providing video updates as well.
